Nite in Hand
DHHS · 2027
An all-night, substance-free graduation celebration for Daniel Hand High School seniors, run by parents and the community since 1989. Programming for 2027 is still being planned — the date is set.
Nite in Hand is a community-run Project Graduation event that has kept Daniel Hand seniors safe on graduation night since 1989.
The mission is simple. Graduation night has historically been one of the highest-risk nights of a young person's life. We give every senior somewhere fun, safe, and substance-free to celebrate with their entire class, supervised by their own parents and neighbors.
Nite in Hand is a registered 501(c)(3) public charity. Every dollar goes directly to the event.
The auction is the single largest fundraiser of the year. It is what makes the night nearly free for graduating seniors — there is no school funding behind this event.
Local businesses and families donate items and experiences; the community bids. Every dollar raised goes straight back into the event.
Gift certificates, services, tickets, experiences, getaways. Business donors are recognized on site and online.
Bidding opens online in the spring. Dates, the catalog, and the live event details will be posted here.
Sponsorship packages with on-site recognition are available. Reach out to the team to discuss.
Every spring, Madison yards fill with gold. A sign honors a graduating senior by name and puts the whole town behind the class at once.
Signs are ordered by family and delivered before graduation. Pricing and the 2027 order window will be posted here.
Nite in Hand has no school funding and minimal ticket cost. It runs entirely on donations from families, local businesses, and supporters.
Donate $10 and choose a magnetic bumper sticker. Donate $25 or more and get the full set. Tax-deductible.
